Slovenia overview

Slovenia is a country in Central Europe that was part of Yugoslavia for most of the 20th century. Slovenia is a relatively small and sparsely populated but geographically diverse country, officially called the Republic of Slovenia. Slovenia borders Italy to the west, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, and Croatia to the east and south. In addition, Slovenia also borders the Adriatic Sea to the southwest.
